Final Post

Dear future ED307 students,

This class is nothing to worry about. Not because it is easy, but because it is fun, and independent from the rest. You may be thinking of how an entire semester can be used in the class to discuss and work on technology in the classroom and outside of the classroom regarding education, but I am here to tell you that this class just scratches the surface of many great opportunistic ways to incorporate technology in your life and class for the future. When I say scratch the surface, what I mean is that you will have many assignments where you find a piece of an article relating to certain technology, and what you may not realize is that piece can be discussed for weeks on end about all the ways it can influence you as a teacher as well as your students. The two most important pieces of advice I would give to everyone getting ready to take the class is for one, to show up to class, even if it's only once a week. Each class expands your knowledge as well as instructions on how to complete the assignments correctly as well as a way to share with students what your take on certain things are. My second and last piece of advice is due to every assignment given! Don't miss a blog post, or google slides, or assignment. Each assignment you can use to your benefit in the end for the portfolio and will only give you more options to choose from your own work when completing in the end. Follow these two simple steps throughout the semester and you will have no trouble succeeding and expanding your knowledge in this course.

Sincerely, a completed student of ED307.
