Podcast Review

Podcast 1: Teachers and Instagram by The Teacher's Lounge.

(On Spotify)

I found this podcast on Spotify by going to the search section on the app, and typing in the phrase 'for teachers'. I went to 'channels' instead of podcasts so that I could find a channel specifically dedicated to teachers, even by teachers if I could. That was when I found this podcast by the Teacher's Lounge. I listened to this podcast as I was coloring in my adult coloring book that I have been doing for years. It is very therapeutic to color and it allows me to really focus. I really liked this short podcast about how social media, specifically Instagram can help improve idea building with other teachers, and build a profile for their classroom. They go into detail of how newer teachers know how to use Instagram, where those who are older don't and that Instagram can be a great way to intertwine both generations of teaching into one profile and learning point. The audio was subpar, the audio was clear and conversational where you could clearly hear their ups and downs in their voices to hear the expressions in how they're talking. There is a description right on the cover page of that specific podcast you're about to listen to of what it will be about topic wise; like a summary. It doesn't have a subtitle area for those who are hard of hearing though. I would recommend this podcast to future educators, or new educators who want to incorporate

Podcast 2: CAR CHIT CHAT | PART 16 | THE CHERRY by For Kids By Kids.

(On Spotify)

https://open.spotify.com/episode/43SdZFB6obBpV0DtZkdzQS?si=71d64cf4fdcf49ce

I found this podcast also on Spotify as this is where I listen to all my music and podcasts on. When looking for this, I went to the search section on the app and found a tab where it said kids, from there I searched through channels that looked like they were by kids. I was trying to find a podcast that was being hosted by kids talking about anything. Because most 'kids' podcasts are either kid stories or songs. Like listed above, I was coloring while listening to this as well so that I could focus on what I was hearing and seeing. There is a description right on the cover page of that specific podcast you're about to listen to of what it will be about topic wise; like a summary. It doesn't have a subtitle area for those who are hard of hearing though. With this Podcast, I thought it was really cute hearing a handful of children talk and have a conversation with each other about a variety of things, any sort of audio like this is just adorable and you can laugh about how kids say the darn-est things. I wouldn't recommend this podcast to a lot of people simply because I think this type of podcast is more of an 'adorable to listen to' type. More than benefitting anyone or getting insight.

Podcast 3: Trisha Quits the Podcast & Storms Out- Frenemies #13 by H3 Podcast

(On Spotify)

This podcast that was a free choice was once again found on Spotify. I chose this podcast because I am a really big fan of listening to a channel called H3. Where he and a team do different theme podcasts, one of which is with a internet celebrity Trisha Paytas. I actually listened to this podcast back in January, but more recently listened to again just the other day based on the recent events the last few months because of the events and break ups that have happened between the two friends who hosted this podcast themed show. But when I did listen to it again, I listened to this while I was in the car on my way to my camp. With the content of this podcast, it can be fast pace and definitely has a lot of context with history to it, in accordance to previous podcasts and their lives. Long story short, these two are soon to be family members and both have very different lives so they sit down every week and try to talk or do activities that they don't normally do, they talk a lot of gossip about either friends along with drama between them. This particular one is when Trisha had a manic episode and got so mad at Ethan that she just upped and left the podcast as it was airing. In terms of the content, I love listening to two people who I follow, gossip or interact with each other. The production set up is always amazing, H3 is full of many employees who are dedicated to getting the perfect sound of each guest with minimal to no background noise. I would only recommend this podcast and series to those who know of Trisha Paytas either on any social media platform, or know of her. She is A LOT to handle and listen to and can be very hard to keep up with her.
